Review for The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden-A very short review without spoilers

ImageI would give this book 10 stars. I love Jessica Sorensen’s novels anyways. But this is one is up the with The Secret of Ella and MIcha.

She done a wonderful job with this one and I would recommand it for anyone who has a passionate for reading cause it made me love the characters and kept me in suspense.

The story line was wonderfully made. I say go out buy it and leave a review of course 🙂

Interview with Author Pamela Moore “As The Rain Falls”

As_The_Rain_Falls_Re_Cover_for_Kindle

Thanks for letting me do this interview with you on such short notice! First I want to say that “As The Rain Falls” is a terrific book. I have read it and would give it 10 stars if I was able. Congratulations on it:)
First of all thank you so much for all of your kind words and support.
Lets talk about your book alittle bit first:

Tell me about your book (although I have read it I want to see what you have to say about it)?
As The Rain Falls is a paranormal romance that starts off with a group of teenagers who have fell off their path of their true mission of The Floral Covenant. Lily the main character in this series  leads you to a world of unknown possibilities and shares with you her passion for life and love.
What inspired you to come up with this type of book and where did the thoughts come from? Did anything come from your real life events?
The type of book was simple for me because I am in love with all things paranormal but I wanted something original yet epic so I rewrote a 15 yr old story which includes my life expericences and put a little spin on it.
Tell me about your next book in the series “The Floral Covenant” and when will it be released?
Book two in The Floral Covenant As the Storm Changes, The Tide Rises. will be available by Feb.13 2013 it continues the story and includes a more detail explanation of all it takes to be a member of The Floral Covenant.
Now lets talk about you:
 for interview

What makes you want to be a great author?
What makes me want to be a great author well except for it to be the only thing I have ever wanted to do with my life, three simple reasons my children.
What inspires you to write the most?
My children and todays youth is what inspires me.  Knowing that one day my children will know if you believe hard enough anything is possible. Also so I know that no matter what as long as I write there will be someone there to read it.
Where do you want to see yourself with writing in the next 5 years?
I would love to believe in the next five years the first five books of the series will be published and who knows maybe a movie contract  that would be nice lol
Whats your fave color?
My favorite color is a deep red  like a Scarlet red
Whats your fave food?
My favorite food? New York style cheesecake
Name 1 place in the world you want to visit
I have always wanted to visit Ireland at least once.
Now Pamela could you please tell your fans where they can find you and your book at?
Thanks Pamela for letting me do this interview with you!

Interview with Lily From As The Rain Falls

222218_378811105543302_1640844211_nHello Lily,

Thanks for joining me in this interview and letting your fans know more about you and your character:)

It’s a pleasure having you here:)

How is it being in this great book?
I absolutely love it after 160 yrs as a member of The Floral Covenant it is so nice to be able to share my story
What did you think when the 1st day of school repeated it self?
At first with everything going on I barely noticed and then I remembered that Rose  had worn the same sweater twice so I checked in my diary and verified I was trapped in a time loop used by the Stone Covenant to prevent me from discovering their plan.
How was it not forming a relationship till the last-minute with Brandon?
We have had a very intimate relationship in the past and it always interfered with our mission, to be honest I thought I could Resist Brandon this time around but I was wrong.
How does it feel being The Princess for the Harvest Festival and your best friend Maggie being crowned Queen?
 maggie
i was so happy for Maggie but to be honest I would of rather not won I am not one who likes to be the center of attention.

What did you think the first time that you, Maggie, and Rose messed with the earth’s elements?
The first time we combined our powers were at the beach house it seems that the fear that flowed through our veins let our powers seep out. Over the centuries I never met two girls that really got me and understood me like Rose and Maggie. Unfortuanitly our powers only activate 3 mths before our 18 birthdays so we are still trying to get the bugs out. Our powers are our own but they react differently depending on the elements and the ones who hold the powers.

When “The Stone Covenant” interfered with Homecoming what did you think was happening?
I was in a daze at first with all the commotion going on but I soon seen the weapons and heard the screams and since I was still not up to full power I felt helpless watching the others fall.
How is it having all them powers?
Awesome in some ways I can always be warm as long as there is something to burn but terrible if I let my anger take control.

What is yours, Maggie, and Rose’s powers for and what are they?
Our powers are to help us keep the Universe balanced and to protect the innocents.
As you know my power is fire I just have to want it and it shall be done. Maggie has the element of Earth she controls plants and animals through her elegant power of music, Rose she is our Water element she can make a tidal wave with a blink of her eyes and purify water with a slight touch.
Brandon, Ashton, and Berk are our protectors our warriors elite fighters and protectors.

Interview with Layla and Jared attending

ImageHi Layla.

Layla – Hi thanks for inviting me. I hope you don’t mind him being here. He wouldn’t let me do this without coming too.

Jared – I’m looking out for your interests.

Layla – Being nosey more like it.

Tell me about your character a little.

Layla – There’s not really much to tell. I like to think I’m smart and make good choices.

*Glances at Jared in the corner*

But sometimes it’s hard to know what’s the right thing and what’s right for you. I’m pretty independent too.

*Jared snorts a laugh from across the room and Layla gives him a warning look*

I am independent but that doesn’t mean it’s not nice to be taken care of sometimes. I guess I am also a little impatient and demanding sometimes.

Jared – A little impatient and demanding? Try infuriating and indecisive.

Layla – Whose interview is this? We agreed on the ride over. Observation only remember?

*Jared holds his hands up defensivly.*

What did you love most about Ollie and Jared?

Layla – Ollie is really sweet. He’s a great guy and a great friend too. I mean, he even knows how I take my coffee and my favourite breakfast.

Jared is… *looks over at him* Jared.

He’s intense and he gives me exactly what I need. He’s my reasoning and logic when I get a little crazy sometimes. Besides, look at him. He’s hot!

How did it feel when you first learned Ollie was in love with you?

*Layla gives Jared an awkward look.*

Layla – It was hard. I really liked him and he was a great friend. I was really worried we would ruin a friendship if I allowed it to go too far though.

How did it feel when Jared was jealous over yours and Ollie’s relationship?

Layla – Urgh. What a nightmare that was! He still does it and we’re miles away from him. He knows I love him and how much he means to me so I’m hoping that now we’re official, he’ll chill out a little.

*Muttering under her breath*

Though I doubt it.

How did it feel when Jared told you he loved you?

Layla – Like Christmas! I thought I would explode! I just couldn’t believe it because he’s well, him. But I think he made a good call falling for me.

*Layla winks at Jared who smiles back at her*

What did you think was the main reason Jared kept secrets from you at first?

Layla – I was totally convinced he was screwing around. But I’m glad I know the truth. The trust thing was a big issue for me, well, for us.

When you saw Jared’s sister in his kitchen what really came to your mind? – Spoiler

Layla – Oh god, I don’t even remember. I wanted to scream, cry and vomit all at once. I just remember an intense amount of pain. Like I’ve never felt before. I didn’t know then what I know now.

What was it like being in love with a millionaire? Especially since you was middle class?

Layla – I never think about it to be honest. I forget sometimes that he has all that money. It’s easier now that he’s not constantly giving me gifts. That got really old, really fast. I understand why he did it but I’m glad he’s found a new way to show me affection.

Why didn’t you like Jared buying you all them expensive Jewelry?

Layla – I just didn’t think it was nesecary. It also made me feel a little cheap.

Jared – You, Layla Jennings, are many things but cheap is not one of them.

*Layla gives Jared that warning look again.*

Jared – I know, I know…silent observation.

What was it like taking Ollie home for the holidays? – Spoiler

Layla – It was nice. I didn’t want him to be alone on Christmas and as his friend I felt like it was the right thing to do.

What hurt the most Ollie leaving for Utah or Jared leaving for Europe? – Spoiler

Layla – I can’t really answer that. They both hurt for different reasons and in different ways. All I know is it was hard saying goodbye.

Why did you decide to follow Jared to Europe? – Spoiler

Layla – I listened to my heart and my heart screamed Jared. There’s no real reason or ryhm to anything we do I guess. We have to go with our gut instinct.

Did you ever hear from Ollie after that? – Spoiler

*Layla looks at Jared who is watching her like a hawk, waiting for her answer*

Layla – Um. He never got in touch and I didn’t either.

*Jared seems to relax a little again*

What did Amy and Mel think when you choose Jared? – Spoiler

Layla – I have no idea. All I know is that they were great and so understanding. The seemed to just know what was going on with me and I guess they knew I needed a push to figure it out. Best friends are the ones that know you best, maybe even better than you know yourself

Thanks Layla and Jared for doing this interview.Congratulations on this wonderful book!

Review of Bound Together by Marie Coulson Book Review- Spoiler Don’t read if you don’t want a spoiler!!!!

boundtogether-blog-tourBound Together is a great book.Twilight has nothing with the Team Edward or Team Jacob thing…. This book is completely Team Ollie or Team Jared. I will reveal later in this post who I would choose and why! I would have gave it 10 star rating if it was possible. That book had me laughing, thinking, feeling, and yes even crying. It gets down and dirty but that is the best part.

My fave character would have to be Layla and Ollie. Layla is a very outspoken caring and kind-hearted type of girl. She knows what she wants and when she wants it.

But when she bumped into to Ollie (literally on her ass in the hallway of her dormitory) she knew there was something about him that she is gonna love from the beginning. And Ollie fell head over heels in love with Layla from day one.

Well then Layla gets a job at the coffee shop the same day that she literally bumped into Ollie, and that is how she meet Jared. Well that started him making her all angry and hot and steamy from the beginning. So she started seeing Jared and he was everything she wanted and more. He taught her new tricks in the bed with bondage and blindfolds and gags and O MY……  But she found that trying new things is very exciting and extremely hot. But Jared is very over protected of her being and all he does is lie to her to try and protect her! It’s completely driving Layla insane but at the same time intriguing her and starts to see her self falling deeply and madly in love with him. Which is causing her emotions to run extremely sensitive cause when she thought she loved her high school sweet heart and called it quits after she discovered he was cheating on her, but she was completely wrong. She never did love him the way she loves Jared! Jared is buying her all kinds of expensive jewelry and Layla doesn’t like it too much but Jared insists of it!

All the mean while Jared is very jealous of Ollie cause Layla and Ollie is all the time hanging out and Jared also see’s that Ollie is falling head over heels in love with Layla and Jared isn’t to pleased about it!

Then Layla thinks that she catches Jared cheating on her when she stays at his house one night and answers his phone and a women asks for Jared and when Layla asks who is calling she hangs up on her without saying a word. Then she over hears Jared in his office talking about some other girl. She confronts him over this and he says he really can’t tell her anything but he does have to trust him that he is not cheating or lying to her about anything! But then Layla just brushes it off until they get into a big fight on Layla’s birthday! Layla goes to Jared’s house and in his kitchen cooking there’s a beautiful  women and she is wearing his shirt the one that he was wearing when she hit with the coffee shops (Loreinne’s) and made him spill his coffee all over the front of it! She she thought what every other girl would think after their boyfriend got that phone girl and where they heard them talking on their office phone about another women and then seeing some unknown women standing in their boyfriend’s kitchen cooking int here shirt. Which is this is an automatic sign that the boyfriend is completely cheating! So she breaks it off with Jared!

It takes her a very long time to get over him which in all reality she never does. But she decides to give Ollie a chance with her. Ollie is the perfect gentleman with her and everything but she just can’t keep from letting Jared have her heart when she knows she desperately needs too. But she just can’t!!! Everything is going good Ollie goes home with her during Christmas Break and that is when she agreed to giving him a chance.

Everything goes wonderful until Ollie got back in touch with his mom and is going to move to the different state with his mom so he asks Layla to go with him and she is torn she don’t know what to do. She don’t want to leave her friends and family or even college behind.

Layla then finds out that Jared stopped by her house during christmas with a gift and was trying desperately to tell Layla the truth about what was happening. But Maggie found him outside her house in his car so she went over and Jared asked her to give Layla that gift. She tells Layla a couple of months later that he stopped by and she threw her gift away in the trash where it belonged.

Layla then goes to a dinner with Jared and  a big business man working on a project for college students. Then things happened and her and Jared starts working things out but still can’t bring her self to give Jared another chance. And Jared tells her that he has to go to Europe for a year and wants her to go with him.

When she gets back to her dorm and told her friends about what Jared asked her. And then Maggie gives Layla the gift that Jared left her. So then Layla debates on what to do and realizes she wants to be with Jared.

Over all the book was wonderful I feel in love with the characters and then cried on top of it all. It hit all the right spots! I would seriously give Marie Coulson 10 stars if was able too!

So is it Team Jared or Team Ollie. I would so choose Team Ollie! He has the rockstar bad boy act and i absolutely love that. Ollie is every women’s dream and O MY SO SEXY

Interview with Lindsay Avalon

189631_377861598963919_1097339667_nHello Lindsay,

I would like to take the moment to congratulate you on your New Release “Breaking The Nexus”

Now lets talk about your book alittle bit!

Now your book “Breaking The Nexus” which is released today what makes this book so different than your other book?

Thank you so much!! This book is completely different form the novella I wrote in Once Upon A Twisted Time. Song of the Abyss was a blast to write and was a twisted take on the Little Mermaid. Breaking the Nexus is a paranormal/fantasy romance that explores the idea that every myth, legend and fairy tale actually has a basis in reality. This book is the start of a series of books I have planned called the Mythrian Realm series and I and beyond excited to bring this to the world!
Can you give us and idea what your book “Breaking The Nexus” is about without giving any spoilers?

Throughout history, myths and legends of extraordinary creatures have been told and retold. Fantastic tales of demons and banshees, gryphons and dragons, and of course, magic. Stories that every child grows to learn are nothing more than fantasy…or are they?

Beyond the world you see lies a hidden realm, the Mythrian Realm, inhabited by all of the creatures you’ve been told are mere fiction. Only one thing lies between humans and the truth: the Nexus. A magical barrier erected millennia ago to separate the two realms, it has stood the test of time. Until now.

For Mythrian Sha Phoenix, magic is nothing new. But when she stumbles upon a portal on the verge of collapse, her fate will forever change. Pulled through the portal into the Human Realm, she lands in the middle of Detective Connor Flynn’s brutal murder scene. Soon it is obvious someone is using blood magic to try to bring down the Nexus. Together, Connor and Sha must work to unravel the secrets before the barrier falls and the realms collide.

The Nexus is breaking and all hell is about to unleash…literally.

What character is your favorite and why?

I think Sha is probably my favorite character. She’s sarcastic, funny, bad ass, but she also has her flaws. She’s impulsive and that can sometimes land her in trouble. Above all, however, she has a big heart. She was so much fun to write!

What inspired you while writing this book?

My sister used to tell me classical mythologies all the time and I continued to carry my love of myths and legends as I grew up. My favorite mythological creatures were a strong inspiration when writing this book. The inspiration to keep writing came from my husband and my multitude of new author friends who never failed to encourage me along the way. Without them, it would have taken much longer to publish my book.

Did you get any ideas from real life experiences (past, present, or future) or did it all come from your creative mind?

It mostly came from my creative mind. As I mentioned before, I drew from my favorite stories I’ve heard or read over the years, but most of the ideas originated in my imagination.
How did you get this title “Breaking The Nexus”?

I had such a hard time thinking of a title to be honest. Originally, the barrier between the two realms in my story, the Human Realm and Mythrian Realm, was supposed to be called the Veil. About 6 or 7 months ago, the word “nexus” popped into my head while driving (that happens way too often it seems!) and as soon as I got home, I looked up the definition. The meaning fit perfectly with what I wanted to convey so I decided to call the barrier The Nexus. Still had no idea what to title the book though. A few weeks go by and lo and behold, I’m sitting in the car and the words “Breaking the Nexus” pops into my head. After that, it stuck with me and I knew it was going to be my title.

Now lets get to know you better LIndsay!!!!1355266371_9968_LA1

Can you please tell us what inspired you the most to write?

My sister pushed me to do NaNoWriMo with her and when I finally caved, I discovered how much I loved to write. A lot of credit also goes to my husband, because whenever I would say “I have nothing to read” (despite being surrounded by books), he’d look at me and say “So write your own stories.” I’m so glad I finally listened to him!

How did you begin writing and what age was you when you first wrote a book?

When I was in school I wrote poetry, but I remember I used to say that I was good at writing but hated to write. In reality, I just hated writing essays for English classes. I didn’t start writing paranormal romance until November 2011 when I began the novel that becameBreaking the Nexus.
How long did it take to write your first book and then how long did it feel like it took you?

I wrote the first 50k of the book in November of 2011 then shelved it for months. When summertime rolled around, I decided I wanted to try to finish the book and self-publish. I wrote another 18k before I started showing it to people. After a few people gave me some much needed tough love advice on areas I needed to work, I decided to rewrite the book rather than try to edit it. It was the best decision ever. This time around it was much faster paced, much more exciting, and the writing was far better. The version that I released took about 6 weeks to write I think, though it felt like the blink of an eye!
Was “Once Upon A Twisted Time” that you and Trish Dawson, Miranda Stork, and Tara Woods wrote together the first book you wrote, and what was it like trying to write with 3 different ladies?

It was the first novella I’d ever written and it was so much fun. I am best friends with these ladies and they are wonderful. They encouraged me, talked through ideas with me, and really gave me so much confidence in myself as a writer. Had it not been for writing the anthology with Trish, Miranda and Tara, I may have given up on Breaking the Nexus and thought it unsalvageable (yes, in my opinion it needed that much work).

When your not writing what do you like to do?

I love spending time with my husband and dog, reading, doing crafts, making sock monkeys, crochet, video games, and all sorts of random activities that amuse me for a little while. I have the attention span of a gnat so I like to jump around on tasks.

Whats your favorite food?

This is a hard one. I have so many different kinds, but if I really have to choose, I’d have to go with chicken fingers or ice cream. Weird, I know.

Whats your favorite color?

Blue! 🙂
What is your favorite spot to visit in the world and why?

Disney World! I’m a kid at heart and my husband and I went to Disney World for our honeymoon. It was my first time ever visiting Disney and I completely fell in love with it. It truly is a magical place and I am blessed to have a husband with amazing spacial recognition. He remembered where everything was despite not having visited the resorts since he was 13. I’m dying to go back because I don’t think I’d ever get enough of Disney World.

Do you have any pets and if so what are they and what are there names?

I have an adorable, hilarious, devious miniature Schnauzer named Simi. Yes, she is named after the character from Sherrilyn Kenyon’s books 🙂 My husband knew how much I loved the character of Simi and when we decided to get a dog, he’s the one who suggested we name her Simi.

Where can we find you at Lindsay

Ok I am going to wrap this up and say congrats on all of your hard work and thank you for letting me interview you on such short notice. I am looking forward to reading your book!!!

Congrats

Interview with Trish Marie Dawson

324209_464836700218543_1561807043_oHello Trish how are you?

Hi! I’m doing very well, thank you for having me!

I would like to take a moment to congratulate you on your New Release “Dying To Remember”
-Thank you!
Now your book “Dying To Remember”which is released today what makes this book different from Book One?
-It’s obviously the continuation of the main character’s story but it has a twist – a new character that is not from the Station that upsets the delicate balance. I can’t say much without giving the surprises away, but I will say this – the new character is not exactly ‘human’.
Can you tell me all about your Book One in the series?
-Sure! The first book follows the story of Piper Willow, an 18yr old girl that suffers heartache, loss and abuse and ends up dying just after her high school graduation. Instead of moving on to Heaven or Hell she wakes up in a place called the Station – an in-between place where she is given the option of returning back to earth as the subconscious of people in need. The book touches on some serious issues that people of all ages face, but has a silver lining – one of hope.
Can you give us an idea about this book without giving us any spoilers?
-Well, it’s ‘my’ take of the after-life after having a vivid dream earlier this year. It touches on issues of suicide – something I think teenagers should talk about more, which is why it makes me happy to hear readers comment that the book should be read by younger people. My intention was not to glorify suicide in any way, but only to make readers think ‘what-if’.
What character is your favorite and why?
-Probably Piper – as she is the main character. I put her through a lot and expect her to be a fighter. She has her flaws, which make her someone readers can relate to…but she surprises even me every so often. She definitely has a style all her own – even in my head.
What inspired you while you was writing this book?
-The combination of a dream and the death of my Aunt last year. She was only 49, and I still hear her voice inside my head.
Did you get any ideas from real life experiences (past, present, or future) or did it come from your creative mind?
-Oh yes! I get my ideas mostly from my dreams, and then fit in a ton of real life experiences into every main character. How can I not?!
 25064_10152325974305608_442268830_n
Now tell me about your self Trish

Can you please tell us what inspires you the most to write?
-It has always been a dream, but my kids propel me forward now. I don’t want to let them down. I’m happy that I can prove to them the old saying, ‘You can achieve your dreams if you work hard for them’, or however it goes. My nine year old daughter is proud of me, and that makes me happy and keeps me writing.

How did you begin writing and at what age did you write your first book?
-I guess I began years ago in high school…but my actual first book was not started until December of 2011. I have since published it, as well as three other works. It’s been a very, very busy year!

How long did it take you to write your first book and then how long did it feel like it took you?
-It took me four months. It felt like four years at times, but when I was done it felt like four weeks. 🙂

Was “Once Upon A Twisted Time” with Lindsay Avalon, Miranda Stork, and Tara Woods your first book you ever wrote, and how was it writing that book with 3 different ladies?
-This was not my first book – but it was my first Anthology. I had a blast writing with these women. They are all awesome and have such different writing styles that the stories in the book have their own voice, but we also fit together well as a team. I would write again with these ladies ANY day.

What is your favorite food?
-Oh wow. Pizza. Probably…or maybe salad.

What is your favorite color?
-Almost ANY shade of blue.

Where is your favorite place to visit in the world?
-I would love to visit Ireland but I have a feeling if I do go there, I won’t come back to the States!

Do you have any pets, if so what kind and what is there names?
-Yes, we have plenty! We have a dog – Zoey, who is 3yrs old. My oldest cat is P.J. and he is…oh…going on 12yrs old, and the youngest cat is River and he was a rescue, and is an awfully sweet kitty – he just turned 2yrs old. Funny but ALL of them are tuxedo – black with white markings. We didn’t plan this, and obviously we don’t wear a lot of white around the house. O.o We also have a fish tank with Murphy the Beta and Ivy the frog.

Trish where can your wonderful friends find you at?
-I am most easily found on my
